J.T. "Abbit" Lastinger- October 28, 1957-December 4, 2008 Our long time lighting director passed away December 4. He was suffering from severe diabetes. He started with us in 1977 and continued through the 90's and on. Abbit was a kind, gentle soul who was loved by so many. His spirit will always be with us. We ask your prayers and kind thought for his family: his father Jim, his daughter Nikki, his grandchild Carlee, his brother Johnny and his sister Jean. Messages for his family can be sent to:

In Memory of John Pearse

Doc Holliday's long-time friend and business partner John Pearse passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of October 31 in Germany where he and his wife, Linda, have lived for the past several years. It was the gentle conclusion to a dynamic life which changed the face of acoustic music. John was a musician, collector, inventor, author, actor, raconteur, record producer, t.v. personality, professor, publisher, cook, mentor, friend and co-founder of and partner in Breezy Ridge Instruments, Ltd. For more information on John Pearse, please go to http://www.jpstrings.com/.

Stay tuned to this site to take advantage of free John Pearse guitar strings as a tribute to John and Breezy Ridge. We will be donating funds from CD sales to a charity in his name.
